DVDXCopy Xpress will copy a DVD movie to a single DVD writable disc.

DVD X Copy Xpress contains a powerful compression engine to make sure that any movie will be copied to a single disc.  In the event that a movie larger than 4.36 GB (the size of a blank DVD disc) is encountered, it will shrink the size of the movie to make it fit.  Most movies are larger than this and will therefore be compressed to some degree.

The interface of DVD X Copy Xpress is shown in the diagram below.  Everything that you can do is available from this screen.

Everything you need to make a high-quality backup to one disc is here in front of you.

This status will always show you what is going on. Any instructions on what to do next will be displayed along the top.

You will get an estimate on the time needed for the current process to finish here.

Once you have all your settings the way you want, this is the button to start the copy.

You can minimize, close, and open the help file with these buttons.

Enabling this checkbox will disable the options tab and instead copy everything from the original disc, including menus and all languages.

If you are only copying the movie and not the whole disc, disabling the Entire Disc checkbox will allow you to open the Options tab, giving you several options that you can choose from to get exactly what you want.

This button opens the options tab for Xpress.  This button only works if the Entire Disc checkbox is disabled.

Select your audio language here. Click the button at right if you want to see a list of all language choices on the disc.  (Note: Xpress will NOT translate your movie into another language!  It will simply copy the audio track on the disc that you wish to copy.)

Select your Subtitle language in this box.  Click the button at right if you want to see a list of all subtitle choices on the disc.  (Note: Xpress will NOT translate your movie into another language!  It will simply copy the subtitles on the disc that you wish to copy.)

This is the location on the hard disk for storing information as the program is preparing your disc.  Click the button at right if you wish to set a different temporary location.

This will let you choose if you prefer widescreen or fullscreen video. This only works if your movie comes with both on the same side of the same disc.

This button will save all these preferences for future copies.

Copying

Once you have made your selections and click Start, the program will begin reading and processing the movie.

Once the reading and processing are completed, you will be prompted to insert a blank DVD to write to.

Once a blank disc has been detected in the drive, you will be ready to burn the movie.  You will need to click Start to begin the burning process.

When the process is done, you will be able to watch the movie from your back up disc.
